Uh oh looks like Apple might have some brainstorming to do as Blackberry (surprisingly not Microsoft first) has released what may steal a whole ton of customers away from the iPad.  I say this because the Playbook comes already loaded with Flash 10.1 compatibility; something the iPad is sorely missing.

"Touted as the first "professional-grade" tablet, BlackBerry's Playbook comes packed with a 7'' inch, multi-touch display, access to the whole suite of BlackBerry services, dual cameras, and full Flash 10.1 compatibility. And for your suits out there, the Playbook is ready to play nice on the corporate level with enterprise-ready features right out of the box."  It also allows you to connect to your company's server and unlike the iPad it has two camera (like the iPhone 4) so you can video conference.   The one downfall is that 3G availability will not be built into the Blackberry Playbook when its released next Spring.

I see this thing is all business with some play mixed in, this will probably go over well with the Crackberry fanatics!!  No word on what its going to retail for or what the data plan options are going to look like but I'll keep you guys posted.  I hope Blackberry realizes though that they are playing catch up with Apple because Apple sold A LOT of iPad's out of the gate.  It was a product that was lacking but of course you know as Apple always does they save the GOODS for the 2nd and 3rd generations to make consumers keep buying and spending...

Apple - 1      Blackberry - 0
