Michael Phelps of the United States bags his 4th gold of the Beijing 2008 Olympics with a new world record in the Men's 200m Butterfly final clocking 1:52.03. In the process, he also won his 10th Olympic gold medal, setting a world record for the most number of Olympic golds won by a single athlete when he stormed to victory on Wednesday, August 13th, 2008, in the Water Cube.

Phelps took 0.06 second off the previous record of 1:52.09 for the Men's 200m Butterfly he set at Melbourne in March 2007 to claim his fourth gold and fourth world record.

Hungary's Laszlo Cesh took silver in 1:52.70, and the bronze went to Japanese Takeshi Matsuda in 1:52.97.
