I think we should not allow Leechers to start new threads. Conservation of resources should also be on the priority list when raising the money is such a difficult task.

Lets do this. Zooom do you mind opening a separate thread, "Reimburse past expenses to Aman & other IV Core members" or something like that. Please post a message asking people to "pledge" an amount towards that effort. Can you two drive this effort. I am also available for assistance.
We will update members who pledge how to finalize their pledge by any of the following methods based on subsequent expert advice:
1) Should they contribute to IV directly
2) Send a personal check to Aman.
3) Other method like IV reimbursing Aman and others from the common donation corpus.

Atleast this new rule would help speed up that process. 45 days is certaily achievable. attorney must do a good job while asking for the documents upfront.
I dont think companies are really geared to file for 140 within 45 days of labor approval.
Most of the companies take 4-6 weeks to just send the documents the lawyers request for filing 140. Then the lawyers, most likely forget something and request more documents. It takes another 2 weeks for company to send those.
All in all, on average I think companies need 3 months after approved labor to be ready to Fedex that 140 petition. No malicious intent on the part of employer, its just how things are. 45 days is going to make things difficult for many companies and many of the lazy, slow, procrastinating law firms.

Hey GG - I did not take offense to your sentiments on B Com. What pissed people off, was your tone and disgust at the poor fellow and his qualifications, especially when you know little about his ability to carry out his job, or his background. In school, or on line -- he earned those degrees. Maybe he didn't have the financial resources to attend the best schools (I don�t know what is IGNOU). His employer has retained him, so perhaps he is good at what he does. He left his home, his family and traveled to some foreign shore to earn a living, not rob a bank. Show some respect. Did it occur to anyone that we are only talking about compensating Aman the $64k he spent already. Imagine if he had made use of that $64k as an investment(let us say a safe investment with minimum returns) of that amount it should have exceeded that $64k value by now.
The least we can do at this moment is to immediately refund Aman and other core team members the amount they have spent towards the administrative costs of IV. Pappu / Logic Life / Other core team members, please let us know what kind of legal/administrative action is required to get this done.
We will immediately start a funding drive towards filling in this shortage from the total IV funds. IMHO on the longer run the smaller funds ($10, $20 etc) should not be neglected.
Let us figure out the required amount and have a new thread started about this. This settlement should be treated with high priority before any other funding drive. Pledging my $200 towards this.

does soft LUD mean RFE is comming or does it mean there are just pre adjudicating. Seems like a lot of people who got a soft LUD on 485 recieved rfe. Are there any people who had a soft lud on 485 but did not recieve any rfe.

I had called the congressman from my district (Peter Visclosky) along with the other representatives on the list a few weeks ago. His office had taken my name and address at that time. Today I was surprised to see a letter in mail regarding that conversation and his intention to support the immigration bills in house. So it looks like that the messages we leave with congressional staffers who attend the phones do pass on the message to congressmen.

I assumed that the EB3 numbers are split between India/China and ROW.
EB3-I could be as high as 40% - I could be wrong.
I would like to see some guru's comment on these numbers.
