Bad for me ($) but good for you all because i can warn you ahead of time about stuff you shouldnt waste your money on right? And tell you about stuff you should go buy because its awesome! Right? Obviously, im trying to make myself feel better about my addiction but anyway....Last night i was bored, and needed hair dye so I took a little trip to my local Walmart. Now...USUALLY i will NOT go to Walmart for beauty products because I refuse to wait in a line for an hour to pay for a mascara, but ever since Walmart started carrying Hard Candy.. I cant help myself..
Here are a few things I picked up yesterday, and what I think of them so far. Ive only used these products once..
So here i go..
One of the first things I picked was this Jergens Natural Glow lotion. I was looking for a "firming moisturizer" and saw this..I also saw it helps give you some kind of glowing tan after about a week of use..I used it last night after a shower for the first time, and I do like it as a moisturizer, it smells good and does what its supposed to..As far as the tan part goes, I wont know til about a week so I'll keep you guys posted :) This moisturizer comes in 3 "shades" and will run you about 8 bucks. :)
These are the Hard Candy products i bought. But I will go one by one for the slower readers ;) (i kiiid i kiiid)
I really dont buy pressed powders...To set my foundation, I am a fan of loose translucent powders but because its called Welcome Matte, there i go spending money.Theres just something about that word, lol. Anyway I tired this powder this morning after my foundation. The thing i like about this is that it is matte, it is translucent, it doesnt have a weird smell, and the packaging is super cute..The compact has a built in mirror and comes with a heart shaped sponge for application. To be honest i prefer loose powder. I dont see myself using this in the morning when i put my makeup on for the first time, But more for little touch ups throughout the day if needed, catch my drift?
It doesnt have as much covereage as my loose powders, i think. So instead of using this from the morning, I'll most likely use this like....if im going somewhere straight from work and im looking a little oily or something? Anyway this powder costs between 6 and 8 bucks, Dont really rememeber.
On the other hand, I LOVE THIS BRONZER!!
The walmart that I went to had about 3 different bronzer shades for Hard Candy but I went with Hula Hula.
I love love love this bronzer. I like using a little bronzer on my cheeks rather than blush because i feel like blush is sometimes too pink, and im already a pretty bright person so i go with bronzer. The bronzer i was using before was a little too dark so id have to tone it down with translucent powder..But nope, not this one!! This shade is perfect (at least for me) and it has a littleeee shine to it, pretty shine, Not glittery stripper shine. You can use this bronzer wet or dry :) and it cost me about 6 bucks which is awesome too.
Of course while I was there I had to get my perfecting primer again!! I love this primer so much I could eat it!! (not really but ya know)..If you wanna see this primer in action please visit my youtube channel for a Hard Candy review www.youtube.com/tat2dfunk
And Last but not least (thanks for sticking with me if you are still reading, i really appreciate it ) I bought a Hard Candy mascara..
Its called Curl up and Dye which is a cute name for a mascara, and i believe this is in carbon black? ...But i have to say. I dont like this mascara too much, its really really wattery! The applicator is extremley thin, but really long which is weird. Before this I was using Maybellines lash blast and i liked it a lot better :-/ But now i have this one, i spent about 7 bucks on it,so i'll just use it for day time looks.
Well thats all for my Walmart Haul/Hard Candy review...If you havnt tried Hard Candy, you should.. Like i said in my hard candy review video on youtube, Hard Candy used to be sold at Sephora but is now only sold at Walmart. Of course these are all just MY opinions, you dont have to listen to me, Im not getting paid to say any of this or review any of these products. But go check it out, you may find something you like, and its well worth the money..Everything by Hard Candy is between 5 and 10.00 so you might just be saving yourself some money :)
Ta Ta for now kiddies...
