I love all the 'worst carrier ever' comments. Do none of you realize VZW is already charging that much?

Nice. Got links to some of the stuff? User folder icons and system files to make the list like that?
:)
For the icons I am using Flurry (http://iconfactory.com/search/freeware/flurry) for my entire system. There is a total of 5 packs you can find in that link. And for others like specific folders and apps you can find a lot on DeviantArt (http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/icons/?qh=§ion=&q=flurry)
As for the stacks list view I use Tinkertool (http://www.bresink.com/osx/TinkerTool.html). Its a free app for accessing hidden OS X features, just click on the "dock" tab and beside "stacks" tick off "use large, grid-like style for list view"

:] This really inspires me to try to donate blood. Hopefully this time I won't pass out due to a drop in blood pressure (&consequently throw out my incomplete donation)
I do think, though, that homosexuals should not be banned from donating blood. Heterosexuals are at equal risk of having HIV.. it all depends on safe sex, not sexuality. :/

Hi,
I rotate my UIView using the 'transform' property. However, the border looks very ugly. I google around and people say that they add 1 pixel transparent border, but so far i can not find any code on this.
Please help. Thanks.

....the war was perfectly justified.
Not that war is ever justified ....
War is only a "bad" or "illegal" thing it seems when it's happening to you.....
Your thinking seems to contradict yourself back and forth.
Are you really saying that because Japan had limited natural resources it was justified in seizing Korea, invading Manchuria, invading China, attacking the Soviets, invading Indonesia, and attacking any country that decided not to resupply Japan's war machine?
I'd say you're totally wrong in trying to justify Japan's war of expansion

that's what I'm thinking... to support a iTunes cloud and new mobileme services, I would expect exabytes... Doesn't seem that big of an order.
See below.
Have you ever heard of deduplication?
Exactly - assuming Apple stores everything in HD + SD @ 2GB/hour of HD and 1GB/hour of SD, that's over 4 million hours of video (since 1PB = 1048567GB).
If iTunes goes 1080p, it would likely be stored as about 4-5GB/hour + SD, or about 2.5 million hours of video.
If (and it's a big if) this is open to iTunes subscribers, it will likely be only for content you buy off iTunes, so there will be no duplication.

Anyone know of an app that will let me run my iPhoto library off an external HD?
Not sure but iPhoto Buddy (http://nofences.net/iphotoBuddy/) should do the trick.

Good work! I've just double checked your figures and they are accurate (ahem)
I suppose the original question should have been, "What have Apple got in there?"
Maybe Steve Jobs has another hobby going, a new Xserve!
For a while I mixed up exabyte and petabyte, so I thought a petabyte was 1024 exabytes which was 1024 terabytes. Now it makes sense.

with the iTv and nike+ as testing groungs for apples wirless products, perhaps this is why we have seen the delay in the release of the fabled "iphone"? Also contributing to the delay is the time spent in developing the new ear buds. Mr. Jobs said the studied 10,000 ears or someting right? so the could have been developing the iphone pod set. the head set that is a fasion statement and a music player. great sound quality built into a stereo wireless headset that hooks up to iphone. like the first itunes enabled phone commercial with the guy walking and his shadow is dancing, and then answers a call, and then keeps on going :) this pod set will be the next big thing;) :D :p

Fact: You don't have to jailbreak the phone to access the info - it's on your hard drive
Fact: This issue was brought to Apple over a year ago - not a week ago.
Ultimately - as long as they fix the "bug" - all will be "ok"
The rest of that rhetoric is PR saving ass crap. Fact.

Bertrand's accent is really funny.... I remember him saying: Snaw Lepawd... Also, wasn't he one of the CEOs of BE, Inc??
He helped found Be, right? I do know he was responsible for not allowing G5's to run Snaw Lepawd.
Uh, no.

While it is true that people can put themselves at a higher risk through certain activities, for a politician to blame a young girl for her own rape is absolutely disgusting. It's also nauseating and ignorant for politicians to suggest modest dress as a way to prevent rape. Such thinking is completely backward.
She clearly coerced the men into raping her. They are the real victims here.

I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.
Battery life was atrocious for me on 4.3, but 4.3.1 completely fixed it. I get the "Call Failed" message sometimes too, but only about 5% of the time.
